Pinetop Fire Department

Engine 121The Pinetop Fire Department is proud to be able to offer modern fire suppression equipment to the citizens of our service area, the Pinetop Fire District. Our department was founded in 1957 as a volunteer Fire Department and our district was established to include the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside, along with unincorporated areas of Navajo County, Arizona.

The Pinetop Fire Department is a combination department, which means both full-time personnel and reserves work side by side. The Pinetop Fire Department currently has Full-time personnel, Reserves, and Red Shirts. Station 1 is located at 1845 S. Pine Lake Road and houses most of our apparatus. Since our inception, we have made every effort to acquire modern equipment that would serve the needs of our community. Due to the rapid expansion of our area, we recently built a new fire station at 5976 Buck Springs Road which is next to the Pinetop Lakes Recreation Center. Station 2 provides a faster response time in the area. We currently have 9 full-time personnel assigned per shift which results in an immediate response to whatever emergency they are called upon. Our apparatus is profiled here for your review. We invite you to preview our equipment and the purposes for which it is used.
