Our Department prides itself in trying to maintain the safest possible working conditions. The Fire Department has one person assigned as it's Safety Officer. The Safety Officer's primary job at any emergency is to make sure that all firefighters are safe in the job they do, along with making sure the firefighters are not exposed to dangerous working conditions at a fire or emergency scene.
