Wildland Fire Information. All of Pinetop Fire Department personnel have training in various areas Wildland Firefighting. Several of our personnel are assigned as single resources which mean they are either assigned to specific wildland teams or they go where ever they may be needed throughout the country for wildfires or other natural disasters.

Some of our member have been as far north to the Canadian border for fire assignment or as far south as Florida to assist in the Hurricanes. If there are any wildland fires in or out of state, Pinetop Fire is part of a mutual aid system that allows available personnel and trucks to go out and assist when needed.
