Pinetop Fire Department assisted the USFS in a broadcast burn, on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Crews were performing a prescribed burn on approximately 100 acres of USFS land adjacent to private lands known as a wildland urban interface (WUI).
The Pinetop Fire Department is committed in its partnerships with the USFS in such projects that protect our community and forest in which we live.
