Pinetop Fire District issues burn permits for residents to burn "green" waste, such as tree limbs and leaves, on their property.

Permits are issued free of charge seven days a week during normal business hours at Station 11, 1845 S. Pine Lake Rd.

All permits are good from the date of issue to December 31. Burning is allowed based on weather conditions.

All permit holders must call prior to burning to see if burning is currently allowed.

Residents must have a water source such as a garden hose along with a rake or shove on the site of the burn and all burning needs to be at least 25 feet from a structure.
